Overview:
Students will learn and observe how plants grow. Children will be planting four seeds, which will be placed in a plastic bag for the students to observe the plant growth. The experiment will allow children to have a visual perspective on how the roots of the plants, as well as the stems, grow throughout time. Ideally, they will also keep a record sheet to be able to periodically draw how the seed grows.
Learning Objectives:
- Create an environment for a seed to grow.
- Germinate and understand the plant growth process.
- Apply their observations through art.
- Make connections to the real world.

- Zip Bag
- Two pea seed
