Overview:
Students will learn how clouds are formed and replicate the process in a jar. They will learn what weather conditions are needed in order for a cloud to form.

- Create a similar environment to the atmosphere that makes a cloud.
- Learn how clouds are formed.
- Understand how the water cycle works.
- Practice following directions.

Materials Needed:
Materials:
- 1 mason jar with a lid (16 oz is fine, no specific size)
- 1 measuring cup of hot water
- 1 can of aerosol hair spray (can be any type of aerosol hairspray)
- 3-7 ice cubes
Optional Materials:
- Ziplock bag
- Ice tray
- Any type of glass jar with a metal lid
- Any type of measuring cup
